Quran memorization practice
Hide the verses.
Recite from memory.
For a simple, free starting point before Tarteel’s more complete tools, try revising a surah you already know in Islameco.

How to start
Open Quran review and choose memorization mode. Prepare the speech model, press Start recitation and allow microphone access. Recite out loud. First-time speech setup downloads a model; reading does not require the microphone.
Open Quran practiceWhat do the colors mean?
The app tries to find your verse and follow its words. Green means recognition matched a word; yellow means it is uncertain. Tap a hidden word if you forget it. It appears red to show that you revealed it for help.
Does an alert mean I made a mistake?
Not always. The app can mishear a correct word or miss a real mistake. For stricter alerts, turn off forgiving recognition in Settings before a new session. It does not assess tajweed or vowel marks.
Tarteel remains the better choice for more complete memorization tools. Islameco is a free starter app, not a certified assessment of recitation.
