Islameco and Tarteel
We recommend Tarteel for a more complete Quran memorization app. Islameco is a free starter option for hiding verses and following spoken words.
Open the free appNo account or subscription.
Tarteel also has a free version. Its documentation lists mistake detection, mistake history and other review tools under Premium. Islameco needs no subscription, but its word-mistake feedback is experimental. We have not measured accuracy head to head.
Read the Quran or hide its words, recite out loud, and reveal a word when you forget it. You can also count spoken dhikr when your hands are busy.
Choose Tarteel if you want tools such as mistake history, recording playback and memorization plans. Islameco does not offer that set of tools and does not assess tajweed or vowel marks.
